News from the Farm Summer CSA Shares Available Hello from the farm. We are so grateful for spring to be here. Somehow prepping for the season has felt harder than the initial execution this year, and we are happy to to be executing! The last few weeks have seen us opening the farmstand, diving into our Spring CSA shares (harvesting lots of greens!), and beginning to plant outside! This year we are welcoming back three of our amazing crew members: Sam, Meg, and Kasie. We also have a new hire:...

We're open! It feels great to have our farmstand door open to the public again. No jokes here! As usual, we start the season with the basics, and build from there as seasonal products become available. Right now we've got maple syrup, fresh greens including spinach, kale, and claytonia, frozen meats, local eggs, tulips, cheeses, snacks, jams, and a lot more. Swing by to see the offerings. We're now open everyday, 8-8. And for you dedicated farmstand shoppers- consider a Farmstand Share. We'll...

News from the Farm We're feeling the spring changes in earnest here on the farm. And while the ground is covered in white stuff, it truly is spring! Let us count the ways...1. The greater family has made over 110 gallons of maple syrup up on the hill in the past few weeks. If you see the steam rising from the sugarshack this weekend, come say hi!2. The crocuses have been blooming in our yard. (They are now covered in snow now, but still...)3. Spring crops. You've likely noticed the...

Sara here, to share some ruminations. I was in the barn this morning feeding the goats, chickens, and kittens. (We keep these animals for our household- not as part of the farm business.) As I often do in the barn, I think about the animals and farmers who were here before us. While feeding our handful of critters, I envision the space full of cows heavy with milk. It isn't hard- we still have the breeding charts, shelves of old medicine, and some of the tie stalls. I think about James'...

Thanks for reading, and for eating with us. Keep your eyes peeled for an annoucment coming soon about 2024 CSA shares! Winter Project One of our winter projects has been building a new seedling house. Our previous structure designed...

Today is a day of lasts as we close our farmstand at the end of the day and host our last Growing Season CSA Share of the year. Our employees have either moved on to other endeavors for the season or are reducing hours as the fields' demands for their time wind down. We have moved our attention from the outdoor fields to our hoop-houses, which are full of greens, as well as onions and carrots, that will be harvested and enjoyed deep into the winter months. Thank You! We're so grateful for...
