Sara here, to share some ruminations. I was in the barn this morning feeding the goats, chickens, and kittens. (We keep these animals for our household- not as part of the farm business.) Today is a day of lasts as we close our farmstand at the end of the day and host our last Growing Season CSA Share of the year. Our employees have either moved on to other endeavors for the season or are reducing hours as the fields' demands for their time wind down.
